Created in 1979, the Filab laboratory has evolved over time while remaining an independent company. Its philosophy: Offering a range of analytical chemistry and materials characterization services to help manufacturers in all sectors “make their materials speak”.
Filab acts as a service provider for industrial companies, both in France and in Europe. In recent years, the company has grown rapidly and its premises reached a saturation point, making it difficult to keep up with the increase in staff. The company chose to build a new laboratory to move beyond a strategic milestone in its local development.
This expansion plan should take Filab to 150 employees within 5 to 6 years, and even sooner if the current rate of growth is maintained.
Summing up:
❌ Issue : The current site could not absorb the staff increase beyond 2 years.
✔️ Solution :Construction of a modern, ecologically mindful and expandable laboratory of approximately 5000m2.
Employment impact at 3 years
With fewer than 90 employees when the project was launched in 2022, this year Filab grew to 105 employees and several tens of additional jobs will be created by the time the new premises are delivered come November 2024.
Location
Filab chose the Dijon Bourgogne Ecoparc to meet its needs
